Finding Time for Health & Fitness

Finding Time for Health & Fitness

I don’t have enough time to workout!

Guess what? That’s bullshit.

adult media connectivity

This study from Nielsen shows Americans spend almost 11.5 hours connected to media.

Exclude entertainment like listening to the radio that’s done while driving and the numbers still won’t help your case.

Live TV alone accounts from nearly 4 hours a day!

The question you should ask yourself now is simple:

How do I go from thinking I don’t have free time to freeing up time to start exercising?

Here’s a few strategies to help you solve this problem.

Make it a priority

We are all limited to a 24 hour day. How we choose to spend that time is up to us.

Everyone sets priorities in life whether they realize it or not.

If you choose to spend another 2 hours watching TV and get 5 hours of sleep instead of 7, you care more about being entertained than well rested and alert with high energy levels.

Just like you (I hope) shower, brush your teeth, and do laundry, taking care of your body should be a priority.

I am not telling you that you need to look like a bodybuilder. What I am telling you is neglecting this priority will make your life a living hell.

Maybe not tomorrow, but eventually.

73.6% of American adults are overweight or obese and this is a result of neglecting health and fitness.

Do this long enough and one of the following health risks is waiting for you:

  1. Diabetes
  2. Cardiovascular disease
  3. Cancer
  4. Depression
  5. Sexual reproduction issues
  6. Lung function and respiratory disease
  7. Memory and cognitive function
  8. Musculoskeletal disorders

All of those put you at greater risk for premature death.

Health and fitness is not a luxury.

It is an essential part of living and your life depends on it.

Stop running from this reality.
